FOR SALE: Wyatt, is a 12 year old 1/2 QH (dam)- 1/2 Pinto (sire)- Dapple gray gelding. He has been used for the past 3 years as a trail horse and the horse anyone can ride. He leads, follows or "ponys", loads, lunges, ties, stands for the farrier, leads, bathes, trailers, worms, blankets, you name it! He is up to date on all shots, worming, teeth (floated 2 years ago) and farrier care. He has been ridden by inexperienced riders, lifetime cowboy, my elderly dad, daughter, 3 year old grandson as well as a special needs child. Anyone can ride Wyatt! No vices. He is out of a registered Pinto (Doc Bar great-great-grandsire) and a grade QH mare and was bred and foaled on a working cow ranch in CA. He has a very calm disposition but perks right up when he is out on the trail. He has good feet, no health, behavior or mobility issues has not had colic or founder in his known history.He will cross deep water, bridges, go up stairs, over ditches, embankments, through brush, ride in parades or on the beach. He is not and easy keeper so a winter blanket, individual feedings and supplements with regular worming are essential to mantaining his weight unless you have irrigated pasture. He does have high narrow withers so he comes with his saddle and pad that fits him. He is not only awesome, he is handsome too! If you want an all around calm, sturdy horse...this is it!
