What's Happening In JCHA
Saturday, July 26
Karen
Matheny will lead a ride for members only on the Brown Mountain trail which is up Hwy 140
to the FS37 road. This is a very nice easy ride about 3 hours long. Pack
a lunch and plenty of water and bug spray. Meet at the Old Farmhouse
restaurant at the corner of Agate Road and Hwy 62 at 8:00am for
breakfast or be there by 8:45am to caravan to the trailhead. Call Karen
at 245-8511 for more info and to see if there are any changes (if the
trail has not been cleared of blow downs she will choose another site.)

Happenings
July 26
Horses and
Wilderness Seminar. Is is sponsored by Jackson Co. Water and Soils
District. It is an all day seminar about skills in the wilderness (or
any trail riding area). It is $10 and and includes lunch. It is indoors
(air conditioned!!). You do need to sign up to attend.
